DRIFTING AND WHAT NOT!

WHAT IS IT? DON’T ASK ME, ‘CUZ I HAVEN’T GOT THE ANSWER TO THAT…
YOU KNOW HOW PEOPLE TALK ABOUT GETTING INTO A PHASE, WHERE THEY DON’T SEEM TO CONCENTRATE AND FEEL LIKE THEY’RE NOT FUNCTIONING WELL?!
WELL, THAT’S WHERE I STAND RIGHT NOW…
I HEAR THEM, BUT DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT.
I SEE THEM, BUT UNSURE OF THEIR PRESENCE…..
I’VE BEEN DRIFTING OFF TO THIS UNKNOWN WORLD OF PEACE AND SILENCE…
NO PEOPLE, NO VOICES, NO WORRIES, NO HASSLE!

MAMA....

IM PLEASED TO BE A PART OF YOU...
I'M PROUD OF YOU...

I BELONG TO YOU...

MAY ALLAH SAVE YOU AND GRANT YOU A

FAITHFUL, HEALTHY, AND SIMPLE LIFE... AMEN.

ALL PRAISE IS DUE TO ALLAH...

HAMDAN LELLAH 'ALA SALAMATEK...

I LOVE YOU

“HEAVEN’S WORTH… WORTH LIVING THIS LIFE…”

As human beings, we all comprehend the idea that we have hearts, minds, and bodies. But when talking about our soul, we most likely overlook it. Our soul, this elusive thing that makes us who and what we are. Ignoring it and not nurturing it makes our disconnection with our selves complete. We must nurture our souls, hearts, minds and bodies, in order to be fully functioning beings.
I want to stop seeing what I’m seeing; I want to stop seeing what I don’t like to see… I see hollow people passing me by, everyday, everywhere… it’s scary! I don’t like it anymore! It’s not just that. I’ve come to a limit where I cant stand it… it hurts when I come to think about people surrounding me… however, when did I –the li’l sara- become a young lady and started comprehending and analyzing all this… its killing me softly, with every breath I take, my interaction with human beings decreases, and the grieve in my heart increases… my patience is almost out. I need to meet any living human being…BEINGS…being a lot of things… being loving, being warm, being connected, being caring,….being a lot of things other than
being not being… being the same with no achievements, being shallow, and avoiding all different emotions…
In this world of diversity, the kind of answers you get to your technical questions depends as much on the way you ask the questions as on the difficulty of developing the answer. I hope this article gets us a satisfactory answer to a very difficult question.

THE QUESTION...
IN A WORLD OF RAPID CHANGE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO ALWAYS STAY THE SAME? SOMETIMES, WE FACE QUESTIONS THAT HARDLY HAVE ANSWERS… LETS SAY, I ASK YOU THIS, WOULD YOU, YES YOU, LIKE TO LIVE FOREVER?

“WE ARE…”
“we created man from a quintessence (of clay); then we placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; then we made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot we made a (fetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be allah, the noblest of creators!”
(al-mu’menoon, 12-14)
So we are creatures created with countless needs, the calculations of the time spent on routine tasks necessary for survival are, undoubtedly, worth thinking about. As stated earlier, at least 15-20 years of a 60-year life are spent asleep. The initial 5-10 years of the remaining 40-45 years, however, are spent in childhood, another period that is also spent in an almost unconscious state. In other words, a sixty-year-old man will have spent perhaps half of his life without consciousness. Regarding the other half of life, many statistics are available. These figures, for instance, include the time spent preparing meals, eating, bathing or caught in traffic jams. This list can be further extended. In conclusion, what remains from a "long" life is only 3-5 years.
WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF SUCH A SHORT LIFE IN COMPARISON TO AN ETERNAL ONE?
Everyone has to spend some of his daily time sleeping. No matter how much work he has or how he struggles to avoid it, it is inescapable that he will fall asleep and remain in bed for at least a quarter of the day. Hence, man is conscious only eighteen hours a day; he spends the remaining time – a minimum of six hours a day on average – in complete unconsciousness.
“It is Allah Who created you in a state of (helpless) weakness, then gave (you) strength after weakness, then after strength, gave (you) weakness, and a hoary head: He creates as He wills, and it is He Who has all knowledge and power.“(Surat ar-Rum, 54)

“THIS LIFE”

" Life can not be that complicated, yet can not be that simple either. Confusing. Yes. Very actually. Born. Connect. Get attached on purpose. How can not you be. They die. Pain. You do not learn. Search for another one to attach to. Fall in love. This time your choice or so you think or even do not think. Something happens or nothing happens. You do not want to detach. Can not. Feel grabbed like a dead animal. Revolve and spin in their space. Reminding yourself that you want to be free. They tell you to go. Go. Go away. You beg to be a servant. But they are no masters, you know. And indeed you are no servant. Yet you act as one. They abuse you. You abuse yourself I suppose. You blame it all on them. They see you as fool. You see them as idiots. Both of you are idiots. You live in patterns. Call it energy patterns or life patterns. Pattern why need to define the type. Things are repeated. Things in your life I mean. You fall for the wrong people. You learn. Swear you were wrong. Never will do this again. You are kidding me. You do it again. This time it is more fun. Watching a movie. Seeing yourself sneaking to doing it again. Know it is wrong. Recognize the pain. Taste the pain & regret before things happen, yet you keep going. Doing it. Happy for the feeling you get, yet, know it is all fake. I have been there. I have been swaped by guilt feeling before. I know its ending. Well, sounds like I like to see things end. Is it a yoga concept? Things must end before a new one starts. Dunno. For sure, something will start. But to my surprise, it is the one thing that had just died."

--BY HAAL--

“Every container will only pour out what is contained in it, and so your tongue is your ability to express what lies in your spirit, everything around you is environmental forces that shape how your being is and how your heart is, and when you open your mouth to speak, its like your heart is a sponge that absorbs all of this material from around you, essentially what you’re doing is squeezing what is in you, and what comes out is going to be what has been compiled in your mind and in your memory, obviously you can only express in your heart what has been placed in it, and so in order for the outcome and the output from the tongue to be positive, the input in that needs to be positive…”

--By Shaykh Abdullah Adhami--

WANT TO BE HAPPY AND FREE FROM MISERY? YOU SHOULD LIVE A LIFE OF WISDOM, PURE INTENTIONS, CONVERSATIONCOMPASSIONATE ACTION, WITH PURITY OF HEART…

It has been a trial. We’re unbound from the chains of gravity, pain, aging & death... Life slips away second by second. Are you aware that every second brings you closer to death? Do you realize that death is as close to you as it is to other people?
We are told in the verse:
"Every soul shall taste death in the end; to Us shall you be brought back."

(Surat al-'Ankabut: 57)
Everyone who has ever appeared on this earth was destined to die. Without exception they all died, every one. Today, we hardly come across the traces of many of these people who passed away. Those currently living and those who will ever live will also face death on a predestined day. Despite this fact, people tend to see death as an unlikely incident.

YOU CAN NOT REMAIN CLEAN OR AWAKE ALL THE TIME!

“MAKE-BELIEVE”

If I tell you that there is a mysterious tree that right after eating from its everlasting fruits, you’ll be immortal- frozen in time. Whatever age you are, when they eat from its fruit, it will remain the very same. You won’t GROW OLD or DIE. WOULD YOU WANT TO LIVE FOREVER? Basically, the premise is that immortality in a fallen world would be a torment. But you’ll see too much, too many goodbyes! But the limitations placed on us in this life, genetically, monetarily and at the hands of time & tragedy are hard to bear.

“HEAVENS’ LIFE”

To have rest from the witness of human suffering and death for centuries...

This wonderful place has been built with alternate layers of Gold and Silver Bricks. The Mortar used therein is pure Muskh (Musk). The Pebbles will be of rubies and pearls and the Soil will be of Saffron. Comfort, pleasure and happiness will be for whom is allowed here. Grief and sorrow will be unknown. Youth will remain forever and death will be of the past.
Strolling along in this beautiful place, one will visualize gardens and rivers, the likes of which cannot ever be imagined let alone seen in this world. Here, the Vessels and Furniture are made of Gold and silver. This is no small place. There are one hundred stages one above the other, the distance between each equal to the distance between the earth and the sky. The highest stage is the best one. Four Canals will flow in this place: Milk, Honey, Sacred Wine and Water. How wonderful? Each stage is so vast that the entire population of the whole world can be accommodated in it. Moving along, one will see trees, the trunks of which will be of gold and silver. There will be plenty to eat and drink! Life there will be for eternity!

Heaven brings about true peace,

peace of soul, & peace of heart.

Peace of body & peace of mind,

it brings to all people apart.

Far from the sin of all bad deeds,

& closer to a brand new start.

Begin a journey in our final abode,

that will be in everlasting comfort.

Hope Heaven I come one day,

& walk in your gorgeous yards.

IF YOU DESIRE IMMORTAL GLORY, SEEK GLORY IN THE IMMORTAL.
FOR THIS REASON, MAN SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT HE OWES HIS BEING AND LIFE TO HIS CREATOR, GOD. THERE IS NOTHING FOR MAN TO BE ARROGANT OR BOASTFUL ABOUT. HIS HEALTH, BEAUTY OR STRENGTH IS NOT HIS OWN WORK, AND IT IS NOT GIVEN TO HIM ETERNALLY. HE CERTAINLY WILL BECOME OLD AND LOSE HIS HEALTH AND BEAUTY. IN THE QUR'AN, THIS IS STATED AS:

"ANYTHING YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN IS ONLY THE ENJOYMENT OF THE LIFE OF THIS WORLD AND ITS FINERY. WHAT IS WITH GOD IS BETTER AND LONGER LASTING. SO WILL YOU NOT USE YOUR INTELLECT?"

WITHIN YOU...

THE BEST ISLAM IS WITHIN YOU - THE SPIRIT OF GOD (ROUH'U ALLAH) IS WITHIN YOU. THERE IS NO SUCH THING THAT TRUTH LIES OUTSIDE OF YOU. THE ULTIMATE TRUTH LIES WITHIN YOU. PLEASE, TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT BLESSING. IT WILL BE YOUR ULTIMATE WEAPON AGAINST FALSEHOOD...
"Only those who come to God with their whole (pure) heart (will be saved)."
Qur'an 26:89
Scientists and physicians doing research on the heart, say that the heart can cure disease. The cells of heart also have the power to store memories. From the book "The Heart's Code" comes the story of an eight-year-old girl who received the heart of a murdered ten-year-old girl. The patient's mother brought her to a psychiatrist when the little girl started screaming at night about her dreams of a man who had murdered the donor. The mother said her daughter knew who it was. After several sessions, the psychiatrist could not deny the reality of what this child was telling her. They finally decided to call the police and using the descriptions from the little girl, they found the murderer. He was easily convicted with the evidence the little girl provided. The time, the weapon, the place, the clothes he wore, what the little girl he killed had said to him … everything the little heart transplant recipient reported was completely accurate."
I would like to encourage every submitter to do his own search into what a powerful heart God has given us. A heart to use in feeling, thinking, loving. A heart to cure disease.
"O people, enlightenment has come to you herein from your Lord, and healing for anything that troubles your hearts, and guidance, and mercy for the believers."
Qur'an 10:57

I pour out my hearts pains and this is all that matters.

THIS IS THE REASON WHY I STARTED BLOGGING:
I STARTED KNOWING ABOUT BLOGGING THROUGH:
This extreme hurt and pain cannot be expressed in any language, through any poem. It is the state of this Ummah that tears the hearts to bits. I hear of things our brothers and sisters are doing to each other and I cannot bear to hear it. There is no shame left, no inhibitions whatsoever. We as a people have become worse than animals and we have none to blame but ourselves. This great Ummah is on its knees and it is painful. This Great Islam is neglected and forgotten. My sisters and brothers have forgotten their obligations. These beautiful people, these people whom Allah Ta3la has chosen to be Muslims are Dhulm upon themselves. This Islamic society has decayed to a great extent; the milk has gone sour while still in its sealed packing. And my brothers are enjoying it; they say gleefully how they caught this chick doing this or what that chick did. They enjoy watching their sisters being raped on camera, truly they are worse then animals. They enjoy it when intimate moments of their sisters are caught on camera and broadcast over the internet. Truly this is perverse and it is dhulm. Fornication and adultery is rife in the city of the seal of the prophets and this heart weeps. People who pray with you five times a day cheat you the first chance they get. Truly the Muslims are following the ways of those who came before them.It is not permissible to pray for death except in times of fitnah and I make du3a that Allah Ta3la separate me from these people. When the Kuffar do something it might make ones blood boil but when our own people do such things then wallahi it hurts more than the death of a loved one. I make du3a that Allah Ta3la save me from becoming like them and truly guidance is in the hand of the Creator of the heavens and the earths.Narrated An Numan bin BashirAllah's Apostle said, "You see the believers as regards their being merciful among themselves and showing love among themselves and being kind, resembling one body, so that, if any part of the body is not well then the whole body shares the sleeplessness (insomnia) and fever with it."Al BukhariVerily this is true, my heart feels it is being wrenched from my body and I can do nothing but cry to my Lord to save me from this torment.

You never know when your fate gon' switch hand == Get today's solid ground out of yesterday's quicksand

...OUT OF WATER...

=====================

Today she walks on solid ground, but once

The world was water, every touch a wave,

And all her friends were mermaids, shelled and sleek.

The house that kept her safe, the walls of kelp,

The bed of coral-stone, were just a current

Lashed around a dock, with fish asleep

In all the reef’s crannies. The sharks stood guard

And crabs trickled like mercury on glass.

Today she walks on solid ground, where none

Can fly, where there is no clear ceiling on,

Where she is told she ought to try to climb

Beyond the blue. She digs her toes in deep,

Kneels, clutches hands of dirt and pebbles, and

In her liquid voice, mourns the oceans passed

Beyond her eyes. And all is well with us

To know she sees with us again; it scares

Us deep to know someone who drinks where no-one dares.

JUST FOR YOU...

My name is just for me...
So that's my name...
My name is Sara...
The same is with your name... Its just for you, chosen for you...
I felt the beauty of this identity today, when someone told me that he was advised to change his name in order to have more chances in this life, as his name is related to Islam, and that exposes him to be descriminated against in a lot of fields in this life, whether studies, or work, etc...
One should know that, unlike in English, almost every Muslim name has a particular meaning, which is known. Names are not arbitrary or nonsense. Children usually receive their names from a local religious master or leader, and it is conveyed on the seventh day following birth, when a special feast ceremony occurs, called aqiqah. Most names derive directly or indirectly from the Qur'an (the Islamic scripture) and often are variants on one or more aspects or "attributes" of God. Also, Muslims are forbidden from using names which convey a negative connotation, and insulting nicknames like "tubby" or "shorty". Almost every Muslim name has a pleasant, even pious connotation, and an effort to find names which mean evil, arrogant things will not prove fruitful (except maybe in the Western mind): the actual meaning is invariably positive, even sublime, in the native language.

INSHA' ALLAH INSHA' ALLAH

How can I promise you forever
When I can't even promise the rest of the day
All I know is we started this journey together
And hopefully we can make it the rest of the way
I want them to promise me its gonna be O.K., I want them to be there for me till the end of my time, I want them to.....they can't. I have to get it... they will never be able to do so. End of story.
Sometimes I feel there's a hole inside me an emptiness that, at times seems to burn. I think if you lifted my heart to your ear, probably you could hear the ocean. I have this dream of being whole. But with the sweets comes the sour.

A car accident that saved Mira's life!

Well, as we grow through life, we hear stories that uplift us and make us perceive things from a different perception… and I got two stories for you to read, not hear… so focus and I want your eyes to go over each word, while not skipping lines, like I usually do… I hate this trait of mine.
Anyhow, first story… last night I could not sleep. And the reason is sooooooo strange... I wasn’t able to swallow my saliva! I had my tonsils so swollen and infected, which made it so difficult for me to swallow my own saliva… So we should be thankful 24/7 for the tiniest things... Praise the lord of the worlds…
Second story…today, my mom told me this incredible story of her friends’ daughter… that girls’ name is Mira… when Mira was 2, while sitting on her moms lap, next to her uncle (who was driving the car then), they bumped the car in front of them, the airbag blew up and saved Mira, but it was too hard that lead to breaking Miras’ front tooth, and her mouth started bleeding frantically…. Few minutes later they were in the hospital checking Miras’ skull and everything… While they were checking the baby-girl, her uncle was like "if i drove slower...", and her mom was like "if i wud have put her in hear seat...".... Anyhow when the X-rays results came out, they told Miras’ mom that "there is nothing broken
BUT….
BUT
BUT
But she has a tumor equal to quarter the size of her brain!!!!!!!!"
They had to travel all the way to the States and take it out before it grows and have an effect on her nerves… DAYS PASSED, WEEKS, YEARS AND….
And now this girl is a young hale and hearty lady with no health complexity whatsoever…
The point is, without that car accident, that girl might have been dead by now, or suffering from unbelievable sum of health issues…
One should always be grateful to their Lord no matter what befalls them.

Oh, where did peace and tranquility go?

Cars rushing past,

all speeding and fighting

to be first off the lights,

they're all hitting their horns,

I assume they have somewhere to go

although where it is

I don't want to know!

A bus pulls up,

so many people fight to get on

they've all got to get somewhere

so they stand in the stench,

in a closed compartment

and breath in

everyone else's sweat.

A tram goes byringing its bell,

even more people pour in,

their numbers swell.

There are also the cyclists

that rule the road,

they must be tired of living,

as they asssume right of way,

Don't they realise,

everyone else is bigger than them?

Everyone seems to have somewhere to go

as they all rush noisily past my window.

Oh, where did peace and tranquility go?

DON'T SPILL YOUR POISNED BEANS!

Well, whatever I will say here is out of Fear of my Lord and yours... Wallahi -and Allah is my witness- my intention in typing the following is the pleasure of Allah and explaining to you my point of view, seeking progress in this life, to succeed in the next...(may Allah Almighty grant us all Al-Ferdous...Amen)
A friend of mine told me a very bad secret of hers two years ago... it was truely bad, and very heavy to carry... She thought by telling me, she'll feel much lighter... Was what she did right? Not at all...
Someone once said:
"u didnt need to come clean n u dont need to give the world n explanation.....dont air ure dirty laundry publicly it just adds to the filth....ure saying it out loud doesnt give others courage it just gives ppl a chance to point fingers and chatter...u become a topic to gossip about not a hero...ure connection to Allah is direct keep it that way dont involve the world and make them witnesses to ure follies forgiveness comes from Him alone....ure experience and ure grief is personal dont give other a chance to judge u this type of honesty is all good on the surface but trust me ure just hurting ureself in the long run...face ure fears...face them alone because only then can u truely overcome them"
I TOTALLY AGREEEEEE.
One thing you must understand, Allah has been always with you, otherwise you would not have been guided to the vehicle of inner peace. It was just that you were not aware of His presence. Once you're ready to let go of the past and ready to be in the present, then you're more able to forgive yourself before you seek forgiveness from Allah He is All-Forgiving.
So, when is it that Allah accepts repentance?
He accepts it if it meets the following conditions:
You must admit the guilt, knowing the prohibition of the act you have done.
You ought to feel remorseful for your sinful deeds. This indicates that, from the bottom of your heart, you feel sorry for that mistake.
If a person happens to be the victim of wrong actions, compensation must be made, i.e., a person robbed of his property, for instance, must be indemnified, either through restitution in integral or by paying back for damages. Thus, to prevent dissension and dispute, people’s rights huquq-l-`ibaad (rights of God’s servants) must be settled. You must make resolution that you will never look back, i.e. you must enter into a sincere covenant with God that you have completely closed those dark pages, and that you will never open them again. And, of course, you must pray to Allah for forgiveness If the Muslim achieves all these conditions, then repentance will be accepted insha’Allah, without punishment on the Day of Judgment.
IF YOU ARE CAPABLE OF HAJJ, TAKE IT INTO YOUR CONSIDERATION:
I would tell you that hajj, in itself, can be regarded as a declaration of your repentance. Simply, performing it erases all the past! Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said:
"He who came to this House [the Ka'ba] [with the intention of performing pilgrimage], and neither spoke indecently nor did he act wickedly, would return [free from sin] as on the [very first day] his mother bore him."
May Allah guide us to the straight path, which pleases Him- Amen.

FLASHBACKS

When I was young, back in grade one, I remember in the P.E. periods when I started playing basketball… I used to hold the ball firmly with my hands, and raise my arms as much as I can, and then when I decide to throw the ball, it at times used to end up falling right behind me… I also remember back then when my daddy started training me tennis and ping pong, I used to concentrate so hard (trying to impress him), holding the bat with a hand and the little yellow ball with the other, and eventually swinging the bat through the air, and the ball falls right where I stood… Then with time, we start focusing and become more capable, but that don’t mean we reached the top, its just …

Thing is, there is no top in this life…

Period.

Almighty God.

I wonder how's this little flower doing now? It was seen since almost two years, enjoying being away from our greedy hands, (oh, i don't think i should blame our hands, its us really, not our hands), in a field trip that took place in the outskirts of the city... Happy flower! It won't be asked for what it has done in this life...

"With Him are the keys to all secrets; none knows them except He. He knows everything on land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge. Nor is there a grain in the depths of the soil. Nor is there anything wet or dry, that is not recorded in a profound record. "

Qur'an [6:59]

DESIGN... CREATE...

In order to create, God has no need to design... It’s important that the word “design” be properly understood. That God has created a flawless design does not mean that He first made a plan and then followed it. God, the Lord of the Earth and the heavens, needs no “designs” in order to create. God is exalted above all such deficiencies. His planning and creation take place at the same instant.Whenever God wills a thing to come about, it is enough for Him just to say,
"Be!"As verses of the Qur’an tell us:
====================
His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, “Be!” and it is.
(Qur’an, 36: 82)
[God is] the Originator of the heavens and Earth. When He decides on something, He just says to it, “Be!” and it is.
(Qur’an, 2: 117)
====================
O Allah, verily You, unto those who love You, are more loving than any who loves; You are ever at hand to fulfill at once the desires of those who rely on You; You take notice of their wishes, You perceive their innermost thoughts, You know the depth of their intelligence. You are fully aware of their confidential concerns. There hearts long for (relief from) You. Whenever miserable and forsaken Your remembrance comfort them in distress. Whenever misfortunes assult them, they turn to You, knowing well that the reins of all affairs are in Your hand and every affair rise from and flow out as soon as Your decision is made. O my Allah, if I falter in speaking my request and wander astray in describing my needs and wants, show me the way that leads to that which promotes my interests and turn my heart to its course, because it is neither against (the principles of) Your guidance nor Your act of giving succour can be described as unlikely.O my Allah, support me with Your pardon, do not burden me with Your justice.

A U TURN!

While driving the car, with a lot of people in it with me, I sorta got disturbed and lost track of the way, and ended up in the wrong lane, I was supposed to be on the left lane in order to make a U turn and ….. anyhow, I asked the person driving the car next to me if I could overtake him in order to take the U turn, and he aggressively said no and passed A VERY EXTREMLY SARCASTIC SMILE THAT ALMOST MADE ME CRY….
DON’T KNOW WHY, BUT I WAS SO HURT… WHERE IS NOBLENESS OF TREATING WOMEN?

HANGING BY A MOMENT...

MARY

Is he going to be alright?

FRANK

(not encouraging)

His heart's beating.

=============================================

FRANK

He's dead, Rose. Your father passed.

ROSE/MARY

How can that be? He was getting better.

FRANK

He coded. They shocked him one too

many times. I'm sorry.

ROSE/MARY

He was tough. You did all you could.

FRANK

I'm sorry.

ROSE/MARY

========================================

You have to keep the body going until

the brain and heart recover enough

to go on their own.

Frank

nods.

=============================================

Desperate for changing

Starving for truth

Closer where i Started

Chasing after you

forgetting all i'm lacking

completely incomplete

i'll take your invitation

you take all of me

i'm living for the only thing i know

i'm running and not quite sure where to go

i don't know what i'm diving into

just hanging by a moment here with you

============================================

FRANK

In the last year I had come to believe

in such things as spirits leaving

the body and not wanting to be put

back, spirits angry at the awkward

places death had left them. I

understood how crazy it was to think

this way, but I was convinced if I

turned around, I'd see Old Man Burke

standing at the window, watching,

waiting for us to finish.

==BRINGING OUT THE DEAD==

WE'LL DO ALL WE CAN...

JOHN BURKE, 30, grabs Franks arm:

JOHN

We were just watching TV and Dad

yelled out and started punching his

chest, next thing he locked himself

in the bathroom. I said we were gonna

call you guys and he said not to.

He was crying, I never heard him

crying before, then he sorta stopped.

We pulled him out and put him on thebed.

Frank and Larry moving the body to the floor:

FRANK

How long ago did he stop breathing?

JOHN

Maybe ten minutes. Woman on the phone

tried to tell us how to do CPR.

Please, you gotta do something.

FRANK

We'll do all we can.

Sometimes I get tired of this me first attitude
You are the one thing that keeps me smiling
That’s why I’m always wishing hard for You
..........
I’d be lost in space without You
And I’ll never lose my faith in You
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
Feels just so fine
When we touch the sky me and you
This is my idea of heaven
Why can’t it always be so good
But it’s alright, I know You’re out there
..........
I’d be lost in space without You
And I’ll never lose my faith in You
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
And I’ll never lose my faith in You
How will I ever get to heaven, if I do
And I’ll never lose my faith in You
And I’ll never lose my faith in You

Lighthouse Family ›› ›› ›› ›› High

When you’re close to tears remember
Some day it’ll all be over
One day ’we’re gonna get so high
And though it’s darker than december
What’s ahead is a different colour
One day ’we’re gonna get so high
And at
The end of the day
We’ll remember the days
We were close to the edge
And we’ll wonder how we made it through
And at
The end of the day
We’ll remember the way
We stayed so close to till the end
We’ll remember it was me and you
’cause we are gonna be forever you and me
You’ll always keep me flying high in the sky of love
Don’t you think it’s time you started
Doing what we always wanted
One day ’we’re gonna get so high
’cause even the impossible is easy
When we got each other
One day ’we’re gonna get so high
And at
The end of the day
We’ll remember the days
We were close to the edge
And we’ll wonder how we made it through
And at
The end of the day
We’ll remember the way
We stayed so close to till the end
We’ll remember it was me and you
’cause we are gonna be forever you and me
You will always keep me flying high in the sky of love
High, high, high, high...

20 YEARS...

What we call "time" is in fact a method by which ONE MOMENT IS COMPARED TO ANOTHER. For example, when a person taps an object, he hears a particular sound. If he taps the same object again, he hears another sound. Thinking there is an interval between the two sounds, he calls this interval "time." Yet when he hears the second sound, the first one he heard is no more than a memory in his mind, merely a bit of information in his imagination. A person formulates his perception of time by comparing the moment in which he lives with what he holds in memory. If he doesn't make this comparison, he can have no perception of time either.
Briefly, time comes about as a result of comparisons of information stored in the brain. If man had no memory, his brain could not make such interpretations and therefore, he would never form any perception of time. One determines himself to be twenty years old (AS I’M DETERMINING MYSELF TO BE SO AT 00:01 AM ON WED. 05-04-06), only because he has accumulated in his mind information pertaining to those twenty years. If his memory did not exist, then he could not think of any such preceding period and would be experiencing only the single "moment" in which he was living.
IF PEOPLE HAD NO MEMORIES, THEY WOULD NOT THINK OF THE PAST AS A PERIOD OF TIME, BUT AS A PERCEIVED “MOMENT.”

Because of suggestions we receive, we think we live in separate divisions of time called past, present and future. However, the only reason we have a concept of "past" (as we explained earlier) is that various things have been placed in our memories. For example, the moment we enrolled in primary school is a bit of information in our memory and we perceive it therefore as an event in the past. However, future events are not in our memories. Therefore, we regard these things that we do not yet know about as things that will be experienced or happen in the future. But just as the past has been experienced from our point of view, so has the future. But, because these events have not been given to our memories, we cannot know them.

If God puts future events into our memories, then, the future would be the past for us. For example, a twenty year old person has twenty years of memories and events in his memory and, for this reason, thinks he has a twenty year past. If future events between the ages of twenty and seventy were to be put into this person's memory, then, for this twenty year old individual, both his twenty years and the "future" between the ages of twenty and seventy, would become the past. In this situation past and future would be present in the memory, and each one would be lived experiences for him.
Because God has made us perceive events in a definite series, as if there were a time moving from past to future, He does not inform us of our future or give this information to our memories. The future is not in our memories, but all human pasts and futures are in His eternal memory. This, as we said before, is like observing a human life as if it were already wholly depicted and complete in a film. Someone who cannot advance the film sees his life as the frames pass one by one. He is mistaken in thinking that the frames he has not yet seen constitute the future.

We rely on our five senses to live. We perceive only what our senses allow and we can never succeed in stepping out of the boundaries of our senses. The time and space we live in is similarly perceived. If our brain cannot detect a being through our five senses, we simply say that that being has "disappeared." Accordingly, for us, events, images or sensations, which are stored in our memory, exist, i.e., they are alive, while those that are forgotten no longer exist. To put it another way, beings and events, which are not in our memory, become past events for us; they are simply dead and non-existent.
Yet, this holds true only for human beings; that is because it is only human beings who have a limited memory. THE MEMORY OF GOD, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS SUPERIOR TO EVERYTHING. It is boundless and eternal. Yet one point deserves mention here: the concept "the memory of God" is used only for clarification purposes. It is definitely unlikely that any comparison or similarity could be drawn between the memory of God and the memory of a man. God is surely the One Who creates everything from nothingness and Who knows everything down to the last detail.
Because the memory of God is infinite, nothing existent in Him becomes lost. In other words, NO LIVING BEING CREATED BY GOD VANISHES, NO FLOWER FADES, NO DRINK FINISHES, NO PERIOD COMES TO AN END, AND NO FOOD IS CONSUMED… In its first form as a cloud of dust, the universe is in God’s sight; every moment in history exists in His sight as they were: stones of Stonehenge are being put in place, the Egyptian pyramids are being constructed, the Sumerians are searching the stars, Neanderthals eke out their living, the Lascaux cave drawings are being painted, people live in Catal Huyuk and the Second World War is raging. In the same way, societies that will live thousands of years from now exist in God’s sight as they are building their civilizations and ordering their lives.
ETERNITY HAS BEGUN FOR A BEING OR AN EVENT BY THE TIME IT IS CREATED. FOR INSTANCE, WHEN A FLOWER IS CREATED, IT IS, IN REALITY, DESTINED NOT TO DISAPPEAR. THAT THIS BEING CEASES TO BECOME A PART OF ONE’S SENSATIONS AND IS ERASED FROM ONE'S MEMORY DOES NOT ACTUALLY MEAN THAT IT HAS VANISHED OR DIED. ITS STATE IN THE SIGHT OF GOD IS WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS. FURTHERMORE, ALL STATES OF THIS BEING, BE IT ITS CREATION, ALL MOMENTS THROUGHOUT ITS LIFE OR DEATH, DO EXIST IN THE MEMORY OF GOD. U BETTER MAKE THEM GOOD ONES… OR ELSE, IT WON’T BE PLEASANT!
