MARY
Is he going to be alright?
FRANK
(not encouraging)
His heart's beating.
=============================================
FRANK
He's dead, Rose. Your father passed.
ROSE/MARY
How can that be? He was getting better.
FRANK
He coded. They shocked him one too
many times. I'm sorry.
ROSE/MARY
He was tough. You did all you could.
FRANK
I'm sorry.
ROSE/MARY
========================================
You have to keep the body going until
the brain and heart recover enough
to go on their own.
Frank
nods.
=============================================
Desperate for changing
Starving for truth
Closer where i Started
Chasing after you
forgetting all i'm lacking
completely incomplete
i'll take your invitation
you take all of me
i'm living for the only thing i know
i'm running and not quite sure where to go
i don't know what i'm diving into
just hanging by a moment here with you
============================================
FRANK
In the last year I had come to believe
in such things as spirits leaving
the body and not wanting to be put
back, spirits angry at the awkward
places death had left them. I
understood how crazy it was to think
this way, but I was convinced if I
turned around, I'd see Old Man Burke
standing at the window, watching,
waiting for us to finish.

We are just here temporarily. No one survives life.
Thank you for this solemn but very natural fact of our existence.
It makes us appreciate every breath we take that much more.
Peace be with you, Sara.
Peace be with you too brother Roman...Amen.
