Narrated Anas:

The Prophet was asked about the great sins He said,

"They are:--
(1 ) To join others in worship with Allah, (2) To be undutiful to one's parents.
(3) To kill a person (which Allah has forbidden to kill) (i.e. to commit the crime of murdering). (4) And to give a false witness."

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samura:
The Prophet said, "O 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samura! Do not seek to be a ruler, because if you are given authority for it, then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking for it, then you will be helped in it (by Allah): and whenever you take an oath to do something and later you find that something else is better than the first, then do the better one and make expiation for your oath."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet) said, "By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, if you know that which I know, you would weep much and laugh little."

Narrated Haritha bin Wahb:
I heard the Prophet saying, "Shall I tell you of the people of Paradise? They comprise every poor humble person, and if he swears by Allah to do something, Allah will fulfill it; while the people of the fire comprise every violent, cruel arrogant person."

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
Allah's Apostle said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."

Narrated Anas:
Allah's Apostle said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one. People asked, "O Allah's Apostle! It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."

Narrated Salim's father (i.e. 'Abdullah):
The Prophet said, "Whoever takes a piece of the land of others unjustly, he will sink down the seven earths on the Day of Resurrection."

Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet said, "The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most quarrelsome person."

SURAH 103: AL `ASR (Time Through the Ages).

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful

1 By time,
2 Truly man is in loss,
3 Except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and encourage others to truth and perseverance.

These are the people who believe in the stability and strength of the unalterable principles of life and permanent values given by Allah the Almighty. They do righteous deeds which help sort out intricate problems of mankind, thereby creating equality (evenness) in society, which in turn develops every individual?s latent potentialities.
However, this cannot be done individually. It can only be achieved through collective efforts. As such, these people live a collective life where everyone not only performs his own duty and does the work assigned to him, he also persuades his colleagues to do their best and to face the difficulties which come their way with fortitude and steadfastness. Their common pursuit for truthfulness and firmness thus becomes a binding link between them. They firmly and continuously adhere to this attitude, leaving behind their imprints for coming generations.
These are the characteristics of the Jamaat, thus along ensuring their success and victory. The stories of the lives of other human beings are full of failures; and pages of history bear testimony to this fact!

You may think that you have studied the life of Muhammad by following his history from birth to death but this is a grave mistake. You will never really understand the Biography unless you study the noble Qur'an and the purified Sunnah. The amount that you derive from these will tell the strength of your connection with the prophet of Islam, sallallahu `alaihi wa sallam

The prophet (pbuh) said: "Any owner of gold and silver who does not deliver from them their right, on the Day of Quiyamah (Day of Judgment), (the gold and silver) will be shaped as foils of fire. Then it will be heated in the fire of Hell; (and) then with it he will be ironed on his side, his forehead, and his back" (narrated by Muslim).

THE BOOK OF PRAYER .

HOW DELICATE ISLAM IS ?! PRAISE THE LORD...EVEN WHEN ONE FEELS GOOD WHILE LOOKING IN THE MIRROR, THERE IS A SUPPLICATION TO BE SAID:

On looking into the mirror:
"O Allah! You have made me good-looking; make my characater good too."

The Morning and Evening Supplication
With Allah’s name (I witness the morning / evening) – with Whose name nothing in the earth nor in the sky can cause any harm – and He only is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

If one forgets to say Bismillah before beginning the meal
“With Allah’s name, in the beginning and also at the end.” (Tirmizi)

Upon getting up from sleep:
“All praise is for Allah who gave us life after death (sleep), and it is to Him we have to return.”

When putting on a new dress:
"All praise is due to Allah, who has clothed me so that I may hide my nakedness and so that I may adorn myself while I am alive."

Before entering the toilet:
"O Allah! I seek refuge with You from all wicked male and female jinns."

Upon coming out of the toilet:
"All praise is due to Allah alone, who has removed the distress from me and given me comfort."

*THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

The Holy Qur’ân states: "(Blessed be) He who created death and life, so that He may test you, which of you is the best in deeds".

*A MUSLIM BELIEVES IN SEVEN ARTICLES WHICH FORM THE BASIS OF HIS FAITH

1There is no object of worship besides Allâh - the Almighty.

The Holy Qur’ân states: "Among His signs, is (that) He created you from dust and behold! You are men scattered (far and wide)."

2Existence of angels

The Holy Qur’ân states: "Praise be to Allâh - originator of the heavens and earth, who made the angels, messengers with pairs of two, three, or four wings."

3Divine scripture

The Holy Qur’ân states:"It is He who has sent down to thee in truth, the book confirming what went before it. And He sent down the Torah and the Injeel before this, as a guide to mankind. And He (ultimately) sent the criterion (of Judgment between right and wrong)" i.e. Qur’ân.

4Prophethood

The Holy Qur’ân states:"We (Muslims) believe in the Almighty and the revelation given to us and to Ibrahim, Is'hâq, Yaqûb and the tribes .... we make no distinction between any of them".

5The Last Day

The Holy Qur’ân states: "When the great overwhelming (event) comes to pass, man shall remember (all) that he strove for and hell-fire shall be placed in full view, for him who sees - then for such as had transgressed all bounds and had preferred the life of this world, the abode will be the fire of hell and for such as had entertained the fear of standing before the Lord, and had restrained their souls from lower desires, their abode will be the Garden of Bliss."

6Destiny

The Holy Qur’ân states: "No misfortune happens on earth or in your souls, but is recorded in a book (long) before We bring it into existence. That is truly easy for Allâh. In order that you may not despair over matters that miss you, nor become arrogant over favours bestowed upon you. For Allâh loveth not the vain-glorious."

7Life After Death

The Qur’ân states:"Those who reject the truth among the people of the Book and among the polytheist will be in the fire of hell to dwell therein forever. They are the worst of creatures. Those who have faith and do righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures - their reward is with Allâh - gardens of eternity beneath which rivers flow. They will dwell therein forever."

*The structure of Islâmic devotional practices rests upon the five pillars, namely :

1Declaration of faith.

There is no object worthy of worship besides Allâh and Muhammad is the messenger of Allâh.

2Prayer.

The Holy Qur’ân states:"Verily prayer wards off indecencies and lewdness."

3Compulsory charity.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has stated: "The hand that gives is better than the hand that receives."

4Fasting.

The Holy Qur’ân states:"O you who believe, fasting is prescribed for you, as it was for those before you, so that you may learn self - restraint."

5Pilgrimage.

The Holy Qur’ân states:"Haj (ought to be performed) in the months well known. If any one undertakes to fulfill the obligation therein, let there be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Haj..."

*The Holy Prophet (SAW) has stated: "If you guarantee me six things from your side, I will in return guarantee you Paradise.

Speak the truth whenever you talk.

Fulfill your promise when you make a pledge.

Discharge your trust when you are entrusted.

Protect your private parts (from abuse).

Lower your gazes from lustful glances.

Restrain your hands (from acting unjustly).

The Holy Qur’ân states: [49:12] O you who believe, you shall avoid any suspicion, for even a little bit of suspicion is sinful. You shall not spy on one another, nor shall you backbite one another; this is as abominable as eating the flesh of your dead brother. You certainly abhor this. You shall observe GOD. GOD is Redeemer, Most Merciful.

CLEANLINESS

The Holy Qur’ân states:"Allâh loves those who purify themselves."

The Holy Prophet (SAW) stated:"Ten characteristics stem from the (very) nature of man:
1To clip the moustache.

2To lengthen the beard.

3To brush the teeth.

4To cleanse the nose.

5To cut the nails.

6To wash the finger joints (in-between the fingers)

7To remove hair from the armpits.

8To shave hair from the pubic region

9To use water after the call of nature.

10To cleanse and gargle the mouth."

DIET

The Holy Qur’ân states: "He has forbidden dead meat (carrion), blood, the flesh of swine, animals on which any other name has been invoked, other than the name of Allâh."

the Qur’ân states:"Intoxicants and gambling, sacrificing to the stones (idols) and (divination by) arrows (superstition), are an abomination of Shaitâns handiwork. Shun such (abomination) so that you may prosper."

CLOTHING

The Holy Qur’ân states:O children of Adam, do not let the devil dupe you as he did when he caused the eviction of your parents from Paradise, and the removal of their garments to expose their bodies. He and his tribe see you, while you do not see them. We appoint the devils as companions of those who do not believe.

EQUALITY

The Holy Qur’ân states:"O mankind! We have created you from a single (pair) of a male and female and we have made you into nations and tribes, so that you may recognize each other. Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allâh is the most righteous."

The Holy Prophet has stated: "You are in no way better than (a person with a) red or black complexion unless you surpass him with piety."

LIVELIHOOD

The Holy Qur’ân states:"Cursed be those who deal in fraud, those who demand in full measure when they receive, but when they have to give by measure or weight, they give less than what is due. Do they not think that they will be called to account on a mighty day ..."

The Prophet (sallallâhu alayhi wa sallam) has stated: "There is no earning better than that which is earned by one’s own hands and the lawful wealth that one spends on oneself, his family, his children and employees is ( also regarded as) charity."

THE MEANING OF REAL JIHAD

In one battle, 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) had overpowered an enemy warrior and had his dagger at the man's throat when the man spat in his face. Immediately Imam 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) got up, sheathed his dagger, and told the man, 'Taking your life is unlawful to me. Go away.' The man was amazed, 'O 'Ali,' he asked, 'I was helpless, you were about to kill me, I insulted you and you released me. Why?' 'When you spat in my face,' our master 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) answered, 'it aroused the anger of my ego. Had I killed you then it would not have been for the sake of Allah, but for the sake of my ego. I would have been a murderer. You are free to go.' The enemy warrior was profoundly moved by this show of great nobility and so he embraced Islam on the spot.

In another of his battles against the unfaithful, our master 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) encountered a handsome young warrior who moved to attack him. His heart was full of pity and compassion for the misguided youth. He cried out, 'O young man, do you not know who I am' I am 'Ali the invincible. No one can escape from my sword. Go, and save yourself!' The young man continued toward him, sword in hand. 'Why do you wish to attack me? Why do you wish to die?' 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) asked. The man answered, 'I love a girl who vowed she would be mine if I killed you.' 'But what if you die?' 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) asked again. 'What is better than dying for the one I love?' he countered. 'At worst, would I not be relieved of the agonies of love?' Hearing this response, 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) dropped his sword, took off his helmet, and stretched out his neck like a sacrificial lamb. Confronted by such nobility, the love in the young man's heart was transformed into love for the great 'Ali (radiya'Llahu 'anhu) and for the One Most Exalted Whom 'Ali loved.

"Oh Allaah I ask You for a better life and a good death, and ask You to forgive me out of Your Mercy and grant me forgiveness. TODAY I WAS SIMPLY WAITING FOR MY DADDY IN A VERY HOT PLACE, IN A DOOR'S SHADE, BUT WITH AN EXTREMELY HOT AND HUMID WEATHER... AND HE WAS 20 MINUTES LATE; (THIS IS TOTALLY NOT MY DADDY'S WAY)...I WAS LIKE, I'M GONNA GIVE HIM EXCUSES...PRBABLY ITS TRAFFIC, PROBABLY AN A-C-C--I-D-E-N-T...I GOT WORRIED, BUT THE HEAT WAS MELTING MY SKIN...THEN HE COMES.
NOW I GET IN THE CAR AND TRYING TO HOLD MY TONGUE, BUT THEN HE GOES LIKE "HOW ARE YOU?" I REPLY "20 MINS. BABA ?" AND AVOID LOOKING AT HIM, THEN SUDDENLY HE GOES LIKE, " SARA, REMEMBER THAT MAN WE MET 2 WEEKS AGO IN THE SHOPPING MALL ? " I WAS LIKE, NOW HE'S TRYING TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT, AND DISTRACT ME,..." YEP, I DO BABA .... " AND CARRIED ON AVOIDING LOOKING AT HIM..

THEN HE GOES LIKE, "HE PASSED AWAY SARA."

I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY, OR WHERE TO LOOK OR WHAT TO DO...

HE THEN SAID, " TO ALLAH WE BELONG AND TO HIM IS OUR RETURN "

AND THEN I THOUGHT TO MYSELF, GOD, IS THAT IT? WE JUST GO ?

Situations in which a promise may be broken ? !

It was narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“There are four (characteristics), whoever has them is a hypocrite, and whoever has one of the four has a characteristic of hypocrisy unless he gives it up: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise he breaks it; what he makes a pledge he betrays it; and when he disputes he resorts to foul language.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2327; Muslim, 58.

"Know you (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; you will see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?"

AS SOME OF OUR SINS WERE COVERED UP IN THIS LIFE, ALLAH, BY HIS MERCY AND POWER WILL COVER THEM UP IN THE NEXT ONE...

Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying,

"A believer will be brought close to his Rubb on the Day of Resurrection and enveloping him in His Mercy, He (SWT) will make him confess his sins by saying: `Do you remember (doing) this sin and this sin?' He will reply: `My Rubb, I remember.' Then He (SWT) will say: `I covered it up for you in the life of world, and I forgive it for you today.' Then the record of his good deeds will be handed to him".

Allah, the Exalted, says:
"Say: O `Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful". (39:53)

OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH SISTER SALAM, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM TO HAVE FOUND SOMEONE WHO SHARES THIS DREAM WITH ME...REALLY..
I AM DOING MANAGEMENT STUDIES, THAT ARE SORT OF NOT RELATED TO MY PROFESSIONS..I DO 2 JOBS, ONE IS VOLANTARY, AND THE OTHER, I GET PAID FOR...AND I NEED , NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED, TO STUDY RELIGIOUS STUDIES IN ENGLISH,...AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT, ITS NOT EVEN EXISTING IN THE ARAB COUNTRIES...OR IT IS, BUT IN TERMS OF COURSES...NOT MAJORS, OR EVEN MINORS!!!!!!NOW WHY ENGLISH? BECAUSE IF I GET IT IN ENGLISH, I CAN PROFESSIONALLY GIVE IT IN ENGLISH..MOREOVER, I HAVE ALREADY HAD THE ARABIC
FUNDEMENTALS,...ALHAMDULELLAH...
ANYHOW...I HOPE MY INTENTION IS ONLY FOR ALLAH, AND NOTHING WOULD CHANGE IT,

"Actions are but by intention, and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus, he whose migration was for Allah and His Messenger, his migration was for Allah and His Messenger. And he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he had migrated."
...AND IF THIS DREAM DOESN'T COME TRUE, I'D GET THE REWARD FOR HAVING IT IN MY SOUL, HEART, AND, MIND....
BUT PRAISE THE LORD, I ALREADY HAVE BOOKS, AND STUFF THAT NURTURES ME...REALLY...I AM DEHYDRATED..I NEED KNOWLEDGE..AND TILL I DIE, I'LL BE IN SHORT OF IT...THATS HOW IT IS..HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE OVER ALL THINGS..ALL PRAISE IS DUE TO HIM..WHY ZAYTUNA?'Cuz they recognize ignorance as the greatest weapon of the dark forces working in the world and believe that the light of true knowledge is the only weapon to dispel that darkness. This is their struggle, and their efforts are directed at spreading the light and wisdom of prophetic truths everywhere and to all peoples. Their aim is to teach the tools individuals need in order to live lives of guidance and adherence to sacred order and to restore broad-based pluralistic and true scholarship to its proper place as a first priority of Muslims. They believe the problems facing this generation are those very problems mentioned in our Prophet's final sermon, upon him be prayers and peace: economic injustice, racism, the oppression of women, and the manipulation of natural order. They believe these human illnesses can only be treated through healing the hearts of humanity with spiritual truths of the impermanence of the world and the need to understand their purpose while they are there and act accordingly. This can only be done with sound and true knowledge. It is their goal to acquire and disseminate that knowledge.

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet - peace be upon him - said, "Allah will cover seven people with His shade, on the Day when there will be no shade but His: a just ruler, a youth who has been brought up in the worship of Allah, a man whose heart is attached to the mosques, two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only, a man who refuses the call of a beautiful and rich woman for illicit relation with her and says: I am afraid of Allah, a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given, and a person who remembers Allah while he is alone and his eyes are flooded with tears."
(Al-Bukhari, Hadith 620)
We all need Allah's shade.two persons who love each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only,

NAKED IN SPITE OF BEING DRESSED!

Abu Hurairah Radhi-Allahu-Anhu reports that the Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam warned, ?I have not seen two parties of the occupants of Hell (because they do not exist now; they will come into being later in time). One party will consist of those who will hold whips like the tails of oxen, with which they will lash the people (in a cruel manner). The other party will consist of women who will be dressed, yet naked. They will be those who tempt men and are tempted by them. They will have large heads like the bent humps of camels. They (the two parties) will neither enter paradise nor smell its scent. And verily its scent can be smelled from such a large distance.? (Bukhari, Muslim)
