CONCEPT OF LIFE AND DEATH
Every Soul Shall Taste DeathÂ….
For most of mankind life in world is nothing but mere play and amusement. They strive in collecting as mush wealth as possible and their expenditure is also on fun, enjoyment and luxury. They do not realise that one-day they have to die, until it catches them unaware. God Al-mighty reminds them, "Do you think that we have created you uselessly and that to us you would not be returned."(Al-QurÂ’an, 23:115)
For such people the world is beautiful, with love of that which they desire, beautiful maidens for amusement, family, heaped up wealth of all sorts, gold, silver, car, bikes, farm houses, yatches, clubs etc. These amusements divert them from the sure reality that is "Death".
But their creator already warns people with sense, not to be allured by such splendor. He says, "And do not extend your eyes towards that by which we have given enjoyment to (some) categories of them, the splendor of this life by which we test them."(Al-QurÂ’an, 20:121)

Young and old, all of us get carried away by the stories of the rich and the successful. Glossy Magazines and media highlight the stories of how hard they work to reach the top. Many readers make them their idols and wish to be like them. Some even goes the extent of earning through evil means. Little do they realise that "Allah extends provision for woman He wills and restricts it. And they rejoice in the worldly life while is not, compared to the life hereafter, except a brief enjoyment."(Al-QurÂ’an, 13:26)

Thus the life of this world is a test.
"And indeed we have made that which is on the earth, adornment for it that we may test them as to which of them is best in deed."(Al-QurÂ’an, 18:7)

Every person knows that death is sure. "Every soul shall taste death. We test you with evil and good." (Al-QurÂ’an, 21:35)

Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon him) said, Indeed, the grave is the first stages of hereafter. If one finds salvation (at this stage) the succeeding stages becomes easy for him and if he does not find salvation in it, what follows this stage is very hard upon him." (Collected in Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi)

"And the agony of death comes with the truth. That is what you used to flee from!" (Al-QurÂ’an, 50:19)
Punishment in the Grave is a Reality
The ProphetÂ’s wife Aaisha (R.A.) asked AllahÂ’s messenger about the punishment of the grave. He said, "yes there is a punishment in the grave."(Al-Bukhari 11:454)
Even the Quran confirms by citing the example of pharaoh and his disbelieving kin. "The Fire: they are exposed to it in morning and evening(Al-QurÂ’an, 40:46)
The Day of Justice
It will be a day where the judge will be the All knower, All wise, All-powerful God Almighty, who never commits a mistake. There will be no tribe, nor any influence nor any advocated like we see in Human courts. He will show all of us the record of all that which we used to do. If someone has committed a murder, he shall be punished for that. Those who have eaten up the wealth of others unjustly will be brought before Him as sinners. Among the worst creatures will be those who rejected God Almighty and those who worshipped other gods besides Him.
"This day, none will be wronged in anything nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do." (Al-QurÂ’an, 36:54)
Many people question about the possibility of being resurrected after their body is decomposed. God Almighty answers them: "Say, He will give them life who created them for the first timeÂ….
The same who produces for you fire out of the green treeÂ… Is not He, who created the Heavens and the earth able to create the like there of? Yes indeed! For He is the creator supreme of skills and knowledge.
Verily when he intends a thing, His command is "Be" and it is" (Al-QurÂ’an, 2:43)
Can Man be resurrected Again?
Yes, if our creator can create us once why cannot He again? "Verily we give life to the dead and we record that which they send before." (Al-QurÂ’an, 36:12) He will resurrect us again, on the day of judgement, "A sign for them is the earth that is dead. We do give it life and produce grain therefrom of which we do eat." (Al-QurÂ’an, 36:33)

God describes about that day, "And the trumpet will be blown and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord".(Al-QurÂ’an, 36:51)
They will say, Woe to us! Who has raised us from our place of sleep. This is what the most Beneficent had promised and the messengers spoke the truth." (Al-QurÂ’an, 36:52)
