THANK YOU ; }

THANK YOU ... not for worldly gain ... not 'cuz you praised me ... 'cuz i see something in you that i haven't seen in my life ... its nice to accept one another despite all differences ... and whats better is to learn from aaaaaallllll those differences ... arrogance is killing people's souls, hearts, minds, and bodies ... my prayer is that God Almighty guide you and i and all human biengs... I cant garantee you bieng safe from every evil, or even promise myself that.. Life's tests are pretty much in every area of life.. be it health, wealth, family or whatever. Life's tests bring out our strength or weakness for us in the same way that school tests did. Dealing with tests is a matter of creating a mind-set that is focused on overcoming the difficulties instead of letting them overwhelm us. If we look at the difficulties that we face in our life and think of them as opportunities to build our strengths our attitude toward them will change. We will feel stronger instead of weak and helpless. When we feel helpless we are less tolerant and more impatient. Reliance on God helps. Knowing that these tests are from Him, to help us grow and become better human beings.. not only in relation to ourselves, but others as well as in our relationship to God.
GOD SAID DESCRIBING US :

( i got this pic at the school i teach in, that girls name is Reem, she's six... i just felt that it would make a good THANK YOU to the deepest, most tolerent, and most incredible big blue soul... )

"If a wicked person comes to you with news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly..."
[The Quran, 49-6]

Narrated 'Aisha:
When the Prophet died, nothing which can be eaten by a living creature was left on my shelf except some barley grain. I ate of it for a period and when I measured it, it finished.

Narrated 'Aisha:
The family of Muhammad did not eat two meals on one day, but one of the two was of dates.
Narrated 'Aisha:
The bed mattress of the Prophet was made of a leather case stuffed with palm fibres.

Narrated 'Aisha:
A complete month would pass by during which we would not make a fire (for cooking), and our food used to be only dates and water unless we were given a present of some meat.

Never do I argue with a man with a desire to hear him say what is wrong, or to expose him and win victory over him. Whenever I face an opponent in debate I silently pray - O Lord, help him so that truth may flow from his heart and on his tongue, and so that if truth is on my side, he may follow me; and if truth be on his side, I may follow him. (Imam Al-Shafi'i)

The Prophet Muhammad once summarized his code to be:
"mindfulness of God privately and publicly, fairness in anger or satisfaction, moderation in poverty or wealth, connecting with those who avoided him, giving to those who deprived him, forgiving those who wronged him, speaking out for what is good, and making his silence a meditation, his speech a recital of the name of God, and what he saw a lesson."
This statement rhymes nicely in Arabic.

Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

The Purification of the Soul: A Treatise for the Seekers of Guidance

'Ubaid, son of 'Umar, said that the Messiah (pbuh), son of Mary, used to wear hair clothing, and eat wild fruits, and he had no son to die, and no house to be demolished, and he stored up nothing for the morrow. He slept wherever the evening overtook him.

WELL, I DUNNO WHAT TO SAY HERE..WHAT ? !

HOW DID WE BECOME THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT MATERIALISTIC ? !

WHY ARE WE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CLINGING TO OUR PROPERTY ? !

TALKING ABOUT PROPERTY, I HAVE A VERY PERSONAL OPINION AND BELIEF ABOUT IT...I BELIEVE THAT THERE ISN'T A TRUE ROOT BEHIND THIS WORD IN THE HUMAN DICTIONARY...OR IN OTHER WORDS, ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO EXIST...

NOTHING, I SAY N-O-T-H-I-N-G WHATSOEVER LASTS FOR EVER, OR EVEN STAYS THE SAME...EVEN OUR OWN KIDS, OUR FLESH AND BLOOD...REALLY, WE ARE VERY GREEDY, AND SELFISH BY NATURE..WE SHOULD START LOOKING INTO OUR HEARTS..REALLY, AND JUDGE OURSELVES MUCH MORE OFTEN.. I AM NOT SAYING WE HAVE TO ABANDON, FORSAKE, OR LEAVE BEHIND OUR PROPERTY, BUT NOT TO BE SOOOO STICKY AND ALWAYS WANTING MORE !

Jesus, the Messiah, (pbuh) used to take nothing with him but a comb and a jug. The he saw a man combing his beard with his fingers, so he threw away the comb; and he saw another man drinking from a river with the palms of his hands, so he threw away the jug.

I LOVE HIM, WALLAHI, AND I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONGING TO SEE HIM, AND HIS PIOUS,& RIGHTOUS MOTHER..MAY ALLAH GRANT ME THIS WISH...AMEN.

Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Qur'an:

"O you who believe, do not forbid the good things which Allah has made lawful for you and do not exceed limits. Surely Allah does not love those who exceeds the limits." (5:90)

And then defining moderation, the Prophetic guidance on the best of common diets is:

"one third food, one third water and one third air."

Sura 9, Ultimatum (BarĂ£´ah)

[9:64] The hypocrites worry that a sura may be revealed exposing what is inside their hearts. Say, "Go ahead and mock. GOD will expose exactly what you are afraid of."
[9:65] If you ask them, they would say, "We were only mocking and kidding." Say, "Do you realize that you are mocking GOD, and His revelations, and His messenger?"
[9:66] Do not apologize. You have disbelieved after having believed. If we pardon some of you, we will punish others among you, as a consequence of their wickedness.
[9:67] The hypocrite men and the hypocrite women belong with each other - they advocate evil and prohibit righteousness, and they are stingy. They forgot GOD, so He forgot them. The hypocrites are truly wicked.
[9:68] GOD promises the hypocrite men and the hypocrite women, as well as the disbelievers, the fire of Hell, wherein they abide forever. It suffices them. GOD has condemned them; they have incurred an everlasting retribution.

God Controls All Provisions

[13:26] GOD is the One who increases the provision for whomever He wills, or withholds it. They have become preoccupied with this life; and this life, compared to the Hereafter, is nil.

[13:27] Those who disbelieve would say, "If only a miracle could come down to him from his Lord (we would believe)." Say, "GOD sends astray whomever He wills, and guides to Him only those who obey."

[13:28] They are the ones whose hearts rejoice in remembering GOD. Absolutely, by remembering GOD, the hearts rejoice.

[13:29] Those who believe and lead a righteous life have deserved happiness and a joyous destiny.

The Speech of the Wolf ...

Crying of the stem of the Date-palm Tree
Narrated Ibn Umar:
The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a datepalm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).

Splitting of the Moon
"The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has been cleft asunder" [Qur'an 54:1]
Narrated Abdullah:
The moon was cleft asunder while we were in the company of the Prophet, and it became two parts. The Prophet said, Witness, witness (this miracle)."

General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab)

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
I served the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) at Medina for ten years. I was a boy. Every work that I did was not according to the desire of my master, but he never said to me: Fie, nor did he say to me: Why did you do this? or Why did you not do this?

THE IDEOLOGY OF WAR...

Zaytuna guest book---Leila Sayed - Australia

Out stretched are our arms With every beat of the heart and with every breath
Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest.
Knowledge no longer our people take for their heart but only residue for their mind.
Scholars not valued, and equality among all lies on the tip of their tongue.
A nation drowning in their own concern, souls lost and wandered into darkness.
Anger, frustration and selfishness floats aboard like a lifeless soul.
We struggle to realise our dieing existence.
No hope remains only ideas like that of a floating cloud.
With every beat of the heart and with every breath Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest.
There comes a time when our natural state embellishes our heart.
It captures our soul….
we begin to live again.
We stand not to pose but to make our stance significant.
Love enters our forsaken hearts….no room for disillusion…softening with remembrance.
At the sight of the hearts strings, plays a tune so sweet….the time has come for the servant to gaze their dieing existence.
With every beat of the heart and with every breath Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest..
A shadow no longer………..Light among us shines bright.
Guidance from those who shine and whose smile lights up a billion hearts.
Knowledge is their enlightment, sincerity is their tune…..spreading the message is their fixture and passions is their drive.
Their life a dedication to all those who seek, commitment is their agenda and purification is their treat….
We have come miles in trials and a lifetime so remains…….appreciative of the knowledgeable our spirit may have changed its ways.
Like a string attached to the heart there is no connection alike.
Knowing them personally would certainly be a delight.
With every beat of the heart and with every breath Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest...
A prayer remains on our tongue….their advice we cannot do without….their achievements we hear, we see…this opportunity we dream about.
So far you are zaytuna, yet so close in our hearts………like a ruby amongst other stones you gleam, a cure for the diseased heart.
Affected we are with warmth in our gaze.....without this warmth we could not be.
The relationship now, is like that of roots and that of a tree.
Like Islam without Iman, like supplications without the heart and like speech without the tongue. With every beat of the heart and with every breath Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us.
With every beat of the heart and with every breath Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest...
A shadow no longer………..Light among us shines bright.
Zaytuna you are my shinning knight.
Out stretched are our arms to seek what truth lies for us before we come to rest.

Whenever Allah gives a blessing to a servant, and then takes it back from him, and the servant patiently endures his loss, then He rewards him with a blessing which is better than the one which He took back

Umar ibn Abdul-Aziz

Al Qur'an,
Surah An-Nahl
16:78

And it is He Who brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers when you knew nothing, and He gave you hearing and sight and hearts, that you may give thanks.

Ibn Ata'illah says:

You have not abandoned ignorance at all if you want something to take place in any moment other than what Allah has manifested in it.

Admonition

Author: Muaad
Published: 2005/4/18

One must stay psychologically exclusive
From all the inequity and ignorance intrusive
Upon the mind of a Muslim walking the straight path
Maintaining his morality and avoiding Allah's wrath
Knowing this world is but the enjoyment of deceit
Which human beings indulge in like cattle herds or sheep
Knowing that one day it will come to pass
When death is upon us forthcoming, Alas
Our time on this good earth has come to an end
The reckoning which seemed so far will now transcend
And each will stand to his own with his book in hand,
This is the Day of Judgment where every soul shall stand,
In front of Allah the Almighty and their fate shall be pronounced
All deeds will be accounted for to the weight of an ounce
So take heeds my friends and use your time with maturity
For what we do in life echoes in eternity

Making Judgements: A Rational or Emotional Criteria?

"And by the Mercy of Allah, you dealt with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) Forgiveness for them, and consult them in the affair. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust in Him"
[3.159]

WELL, I JUST JUDGED SOMEBODY SOOOOOOOOO FAST, AND DIDN'T FEEL THAT GOOD..YEP, I JUDGED THEM INTERNALLY, BUT STILL, FELT BAD..I THINK I AM SUPPOSED TO BE MUCH MORE GENTLE.........BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN NOT BEING CAUSIOUS...THATS A DIFFERENT STORRY...I GUESS ITS JUST A VERY FINE LINE BETWEEN THE BOTH.

JUST A THOUGHT

Getting close to Allah

"O you who believe, keep your duty to Allah, and seek means of nearness to Him, and strive hard in His way that you may be successful "

"A believer never stop seeking knowledge until he enters Paradise."

"How do the colourful and lovely scented fruits that we love, such as bananas, cherries, plums and strawberries, emerge from the dark soil? Who gives them their colours and scents?"

God has spread boundless evidence of His existence before the eyes of man.

God is not ashamed to make an example of a mosquito or of an even smaller thing. As for those who believe, they know it is the truth from their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, they say, "What does God mean by this example?" He misguides many by it and guides many by it. But He only misguides the deviators.
(Qur'an, 2:26)

MOVING FROM IMAGE TO REALITY...

Religious Similarities

Unity of Humanity

There is only Unity. Everything has come from God and returns to Him, and everything other-than-that is an illusion. Having said that, having grasped it intellectually, we have to experience it. There is nothing else to do. Man has been created in order to see and experience the illusion he has inflicted upon himself. This is the reason why Muhammad came. He did not bring anything new. He simply purified and updated what had come before him many, many times. Even most of the rituals and the code of behavior were already there. The divinely revealed way of life had degenerated, it had been perverted and diluted. All that the Prophet did was to redefine it, and confine it ? and also to make it sweet. Circumstances had changed and the style of living, the way of development of mankind had reached a point whereby Allah, through the Qur`an and his last Messenger, gave us the ultimate code of conduct.
Nothing in this life can mean anything unless it is contained. Nothing whatsoever can be looked at, defined, exchanged, or understood ? unless it has a boundary.
