End of Innocence
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,
A man was born yesterday, lived today, died tomorrow,
All that's left is dust in the wind,
Earth and sky, he lived somewhere in between,
Lived moments, cried a lifetime,
Mistakes, achievements,
Laughter, tears,
Smiles, grins,
Smirks, quirks,
Destiny and fate,
The *******,
That sinned, lied, cheated and cried,
But he will be forgiven,
For beneath it all, there was a heart,
That cried to be free,
To be loved, and held,
For whatever it’s is worth
Next birth, if there is ever one,
He will be different, what the world wanted him to be
As he was told, that he will be loved,
For what he is and who he is,
As long as he is perfect…..
