Surat Al-Qiyamah (The Resurrection)

By Allah, listening to surat Al-Qiyamah by Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Jibreen does something to my soul!! To listen to it recited by him, you can go to this page.. It's surah number 75.. And hey, why don't you try to memorize it? You do know that by every ayah you memorize you ascend.. Right? You can add it to your mp3 player.. By the way, the prophet's companions may Allah be pleased with them, would memorize the ayah, while making sure they'll live it.. Practise it..
The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
“The heart that has no Qur’an in it is like an abandoned ruined dwelling.”
The Prophet (sal Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
"The one who was devoted to the Qur'an will be told on the Day of Resurrection: `Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you used to recite when you were in the world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah you recite.''

ok Ameen to ur last comment. I got time to sit down and say what i feel. Sister, this is a remarkable piece, by readin this, i will try (inshallah) make the extra effort to read this ayah. For me i havent had the time to sit down and read the Quran, although i have the time to do everything else. Its not that i dont have the intentions, its jus that im a bigger procrastonator that i thought. Guess that makes me a hypocrite. I will look at ur link and inshallah that will help me in memorising atleast some part of the Quran. I think when i listen to recitations of the Quran it also puts me at ease. I feel relaxed and have the WANT to listen/read wholeheartedly. Inshallah i pray that Allah helps me in the future to become a better muslim and... oops i forgot the rest. But yeah, sister sara keep it goin' lovin the piece. Salaams
