Why tuck his shirt?!

“I said tuck your shirt in!”
“I don’t want to sir!”
“Well, stand on the chair then! And I’ll deduct 5 marks for this bad behavior.”
Why? No seriously.. Why? You’re a muslim teacher!!
What’s a ‘awrah?
The word “'awrah” denotes those parts of the body which Islam requires to be covered in front of others whether of the same or the opposite gender.
Okay let me start with a ground rule.. & that being men’s ‘awrah (what men are supposed to cover).. What’s a man’s ‘awrah?
The Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said,
“A man should not look at the awrah of another man, nor a woman of a woman, nor should a man go under one cloth with another man, nor a woman with another woman.”
(Muslim, Abu Dawud, and At-Tirmidhi).
The 'awrah of a man referred to in this hadeeth is from his naval to his knee
Now you’ll tell me, well, sister sara, there are some sayings of the prophet that show that we can even show a little above the knees.. Well, brothers, I don’t know what you feel self conscience about & yeah, I did read the hadith where it said that the prophet salla Allahu alaihy wasalam patted on his companion’s thigh to remind him to get ready for prayer.. However, why not cover? It’s better.. For you & for us.. I always knew that arabs used to wear different things on their heads out of honor of being an arab! What happened to that! As for me, I’m so uncomfortable seeing a man wearing tight clothes!
Besides, brothers, by tucking your shirts in your pants, it’s not exactly covering your ‘awrah! Men wear tight pants & tight shirts nowadays.. Or very exceedingly baggy pants that drag after them on the floor & show a part of their ‘awrah!

Allah's Apostle peace & blessings be upon him said,
“Allah will not look at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit.”
I come from a culture where it’s believed that the man who tucks his shirt in his pants with a tie on top, is very “classy“.. I wonder where these principles came from!! It really saddens my heart seeing guys loose their ‘hayaa.. And I never found a word that covered haya’s meaning.. Modesty or bashfulness doesn’t do it for me!
Prophet Muhammad sallah Allahu alaihy wasalam said:
"He who is shy of Allah, Allah Taala is also shy of him."
Thus the shyness between Allah and his servant, is the shyness of honor, generosity and sublimity, because Allah the Almighty is shy to refuse his servant when he raises his hands in supplication.
"Tell the believing men that they should lower their gazes and guard their private parts; that is purer for them. Indeed Allah is well-acquainted with what they do"
Qur’an (24:30).
