Tagged by Jannah :)

I’m it! Fair enough.. Besides, it’s sometimes nice to be it.. Because when you’re it, you know where you stand.. But when you’re not it, you just be.. I’m not making sense, so let’s get going..
Now I have to say five things that you don’t know about me.. Umm.. I’ll go randomly..

------------
----------
--------
------

(1) At the age of 14, It was found that li’l sara’s eyesight was getting weak, so she had to wear glasses in order to preserve her eyesight from going weaker.. It was -0.75.. Anyways, she hated glasses so much that she lost & bought new glasses 6 times within 2 year!!!! And avoided wearing them almost all the time; which lead to another decrease in her eyesight.. It turned -1 & then after a while -1.25.. Anyways, at the age of sixteen, after begging her daddy & convincing him, he bought her contact lenses.. Now her eyes were way too sensitive & oily, to the limit that caused her eyesight to drop again to -1.75.. Anyways.. Right now, li’l old sara wants to do a surgery, but got hesitant after reading
this.. So what do you think Jannah? By the way, let me add, I never wore colored contact lenses EVER! Alhamdulillah for it all.. How does a li'l see through lense make the world look better!
(2) I pray fast.. Most of the time.. And I hate myself for doing that.. I ask Allah to guide me in taking more time while performing my prayers.. Amen.
(3) I think of the death of my beloved ones almost all the time.. Everyday.. And I fear that a lot.. Death is hadim allathat wa mofariq aljama’aat.. Even as a li’l kid, I used to write my parents cards saying “May I die before you”.. They used to yell at me for that.. I don’t know if this is a psychological problem or what! But I fear their death so much.. I think that’s not right one way or another.. Don’t know what to do about that!
(4) Small things make me happy. No really.. Tiny li’l things that don’t need effort! Like a card for example.. And not necessarily someone giving me the card.. Me giving them as well.. I love giving.. Or oh…. This thing.... Okay, the other day I stoped at the traffic light waiting for it to turn green.. & there was a car in front of me with a small ceiling opening.. Now how did I know that the ceiling had an opening? Well, the dude/dudette driving put up their hand through it doing some abracadabra moves (using only their hand), which made my day.. I laughed out loud with my li’l bro for so long.. We couldn’t believe it.. The person would put up their hand, then gradually bring it down, then fast up, and do some more abracadabra moves then back down.. Until the lights went green. I think I’ll never forget this incident :)
(5) I really don’t like the dowry of a woman for marriage being jewelry.. Don’t like it..

TAG.. YOU'RE IT:
Ara
Leanne
Noora
Mortal Mulsim
Shahdooda

Anyhow, this sara I’ve been talking about is mortal.. And will leave this world taking along all she’s done.. And there is this thing I live with, & advise you all to do.. Fear Allah as if you see Him.. If you don't see Him, then always bear in mind that He does see you.. Oh Allah make me a better human being.. One good enough to enter your paradise.. Amen.. Us all.. Ameeeen. Oh Allah don’t let us go astray..

As for 2) I've got a sufi story to tell:

There was that bedouin, old, wise sufi man who loved Allah and had the gift to meet the Prophet (SAS) and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them all).

And one day, the old bedouin could take just a little time to go to pray to Meidna's majid and have a talk with Muhammad. He entered the masjid, made Salatul Dhur fastly and went to the Prophet's corner.

Then Imam Ali stopped them rudely blanding his stick. "What kind of prayer is that? Repeat it slower and show respect for The Most High!" The bedouin repeated his prayer slowly, well-recited, while the Prophet was waiting, staring at both of them, in silent.

When the bedouin got up, Ali calmed and told him, "See, brother? Which salat has been better for your soul?" And the old shepperd answered, "of course the first one, Imam, as it was made only for Allah _while this last one was just for the fear of your stick".

And while Ali got shocked, the old man went to greet the Prophet and they smiled.

Love and salams!

I think I have the same problem with my eye sight. Glasses only matter for me when I'm crossing the street and the minute I get home they're off.

Regarding praying fast. Rabbena yataqabbal insha'a Allah; however, tarteel el Quran while praying helped me a lot. It makes you actually listen to what you're saying. Al Fatiha is filled with doa'a, so I reckon one should at least give it enough time in hope that Allah would accept it.

Try that and at least it'll make you feel better.

Sure it will..

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatu,

I am sorry to drift away from your main topic, but it just came to my attention the story bro/sis small blue thing wrote.

To me the story is one of 2 things, either I got it wrong (hopefully) or small blue thing gotta be joking (wtih all due respect).

I am gonna take it part by part so that I dont get carried away with talking, and for easier refrence insha'Allah.

BismiAllah..

"As for 2) I've got a sufi story to tell:"

hmm a sufi story? dunno why this sounds a fairy tale and that is the problem with sufis, there is a whole science called ilm alhadith for the sole purpose to determine the authenticity of each hadith that is narrated on behalf of the prophet, the sahaba or even the tabai'een. Each hadith passes through what can be described as "hadith takhreeg factory" in which the sanad "chain" of the hadith would be carefully examined each narrator would be checked upon his biography to determine how trutfhul he is, and with the matnn "the wording" of the hadith. However the sufis prefer the once-upon-a-time style...

"There was that bedouin, old, wise sufi man who loved Allah and had the gift to meet the Prophet (SAS) and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them all)."

There you go :) Now can you please shed more light on what do you mean exactly by the "gift" of "meeting the prophet".

Coz many sufi sheikhs beleive that they can see the prophet even that he is died while they are awake. Such as the current mufti of Egypt Ali gom3a who said that he saw the prophet awake, do u know what does that mean? or let me rephrase the question? Do you know what the definition of sahabi (companion) is? It is someone who met the prophet and beleived in him. So let me do the math for you here, we have both conditions satisfied here.. Ohh booya kasha! Ali gmo3a is a companion and let me tell you the better new you and me and anoyone who saw Ali gom3a is a follower (tabi3y) coz we saw Ali gom3a (ta7ya masr!)

And one day, the old bedouin could take just a little time to go to pray to Meidna's majid and have a talk with Muhammad. He entered the masjid, made Salatul Dhur fastly and went to the Prophet's corner.

I am not talk this time but will just let the Qur'an speak for itself surat alnaml : verse 80

??????? ??? ???????? ?????????? ????? ???????? ???????? ????????? ????? ???????? ???????????

and just in case before you go thinking but the prophet is still alive bla bla

surat alzumor: verse 30

??????? ??????? ?????????? ???????????

and it appears that your lovely sufi sheikh missed salat algama3a but we gonna give him the benefit of doubt and say he was coming from travel :)

Then Imam Ali stopped them rudely blanding his stick. "What kind of prayer is that? Repeat it slower and show respect for The Most High!" The bedouin repeated his prayer slowly, well-recited, while the Prophet was waiting, staring at both of them, in silent.

Now you officialy lost me! Who in the world is the "imam Ali" are you talking about?!!!!

I sincerely pray that it is not saidna Ali ibn abi talib or that would be a disaster .. both ways

yes both ways coz if ur sufi how can u say that saidna ali stopped the man "rudely" astaghfur Allah.. how can u describe a companion to be rude yet the very one that sufis regard as imam alsufiyyah!! I totally fail to see ur logic here and im seriously starting to erase all I wrote, but I guess I been long way already...

When the bedouin got up, Ali calmed and told him, "See, brother? Which salat has been better for your soul?" And the old shepperd answered, "of course the first one, Imam, as it was made only for Allah _while this last one was just for the fear of your stick".

Now my last but not least two cents insha'Allah, the sala has arkan "pillars", which if you missed one of them your prayer would be nullified and you have to repeat it.

One of those pillars is the "tuma2ninah" I dont know the precise term in English as I'm an Egyptian but it means to feel calm and peaceful and not rushed in your prayer. So in case your so called sufi sketch is true and in case imam ali is ali ibn abi tailb, he's got every right to stop the man and make him repeat his prayer, although I'm sure he would of done in it in the most humble manner, because he was raised up in bait alnebowa and the prophet was the one who raised him, salla Allahu 3alik ya 7abibi.

And while Ali got shocked, the old man went to greet the Prophet and they smiled.

Now I would show you something that I must of shown it from the very beginning it would saved me all the time typing (yes beleive it or not hate is my second most disliked thing after waking up early). It is hadith 715 from saheeh bukhari, it is described by the 3ulama' as hadith "almusee' salato" the one who is not praying correctly.. subhan Allah it is almost the same story, but with only few differences:
1.We know its origin.
2.It is authentic and verified by various scholars.
3.It is the prophet here who ordered the man to start over with his prayer because he was hurrying in it, not just once or twice but 3 times.
4.So we conclude from that the Ali was walking on the example set by prophet Muhammad in ala'mr belma'roof wal nahy 3an almunkar (enjoining the good, and forbidding the evil).

Here the hadith:

?????????? ????????? ???? ???????? ????? ?????????? ??????? ???? ???????? ??????? ????? ?????????? ??????? ???? ????? ??????? ???? ??????? ???? ????? ??????????
????? ??????? ??????? ?????? ??????? ???????? ????????? ?????? ??????????? ???????? ?????? ???????? ????????? ????? ?????????? ?????? ??????? ???????? ????????? ??????? ??????? ??????? ??????? ????????? ???? ??????? ???????? ???????? ????? ?????? ????? ????? ????????? ????? ?????????? ?????? ??????? ???????? ????????? ??????? ??????? ??????? ????????? ???? ??????? ???????? ??????? ????????? ???????? ?????????? ??? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ??????? ????? ?????? ????? ?????????? ????????? ????? ??????? ??? ????????? ?????? ???? ?????????? ????? ??????? ?????? ??????????? ???????? ????? ??????? ?????? ???????? ???????? ????? ??????? ?????? ??????????? ???????? ????? ??????? ?????? ??????????? ???????? ????????? ?????? ??? ????????? ????????

I am sorry if I offended you or anyone reading this please do not take it personal or anything. It is my first time to cross by this blog, it came qadaran while I was googling for something else.. I ask Allah to forgive me if I hurt anyone unintentionally and to make me overcome my nafs desires.

Hey Sara nice little secrets you have there, I would wanna start first of all by saying I have been going after this tag from blog to blog, and people where are the big secrets, something like information about people you killed for example :P...

Anyhow about your little secrets:

1. I always loved glasses and I refuse to take them off, so don't worry I am sure they are fine.

2.Rabena ye3eenik, I guess it comes with time that you get more into the prayer and it is more of elkheshoo3 rather than the speed that matters as long that the speed is not rocket fast.

3.Welcome to the club, I have a platinum membership with all the dreams and the thoughts especially when it comes to parents.

4.We want the big things for the glamor they have, how they shine I guess but I believe the small things are what really matter.

5.I guess enik men ansar "ana 3ayza 7a2i nashef"..

"Oh Allah don?t let us go astray.. " ya Allah I so needed this prayer now, thank you Sara. Allahomma ameen for all of us.

-SubhanAllah, I think about the death of my loved ones alot too... I can't bear the thought of it yet it's always at the back of my mind. Yesterday, my big sister, mother and father were off at 2 a.m to my uncle at the emergency room. I had to wait at home with my little sister asleep for school. My advice here: NEVER BE THE ONE TO WAIT BACK. OMG I was going hysterical if I'll ever see them all again!!! 2:30, my uncle was fine, my family on their way home. I don't know why my thoughts take me there, would have saved myself alot of panic. Allah yehdeeny!

- Awwww come on Sara, now I feel guilty for that post haha... It was just a few seconds under operation that I saw black, afterwards, and till now, I CAN SEEEEEEE! I CAN SEEE :):) (you know when peterpan was singing I can FLYYYY- picture the same happiness here HAHA). Trust me the moment of the surgery is forgotten, and moving on seeing clearly is what you remember! Look at the bright side, and of course PRAY ISTEKHARA before any decision deary.

Thanks for taking the tag!
